Cape to Cape A mix of lovely, run-down and derelict buildings with most people living in dreadful high-rise flats with laundry hanging over the railings – reminds us Mediterranean Europe! We've explored the entire city on foot and caught the ferry to neighbouring Catembe Island for a view of the city skyline. We've put on our hiking boots – they are needed because the pavements are quite an adventure trail - with potholes competing with manholes to swallow you up. The people are great and the atmosphere is friendly and laid-back. We're staying at Fatima's located very centrally along Mao Tse Tung Avenue, where the traffic never stops!
